Urban Retreat with Dr Nida Chenagtsang
Ati Yoga (Tib: Dzogchen), literally meaning the ‘utmost yoga,’ is the pinnacle of Buddhist Vajrayana practice. It is the most simple, direct, and profound path to reveal the primordial wisdom which is one’s basic nature.
In this second in a series of four years of special Ati Yoga teachings at Sorig Khang Portland, Dr Nida will teach the Ati Yoga preliminary practices and aspects of Trekchod, 'Cutting Through Hardness' in the context of a four day non-residential practice-focussed urban retreat.
Pre-registration for this course is required.
In order to attend this retreat, one must complete a seven day Yuthok Nyingthig Ngondro retreat (alone or in a group). Completion of the ngondro practices in a different lineage also fulfills this pre-requisite. A group retreat will be held this April in Portland.
Teachings will be based on Dr Nida's book, Mirror of Light, available from SKY Press
